Buffalo Elementary Families:

We are requesting that each family complete the FREE or REDUCED lunch form to better provide for our students.  Unfortunately, due to last year’s lack of participation we lost a large amount of federal funding for this school year.  It is crucial that each of you complete this confidential form going to schoolcafe.com at your earliest convenience.

Also, be aware of the new policy stating children in grades K-3 must have a designated guardian at the bus stop in the mornings and afternoons to receive the student. Make sure to look closely at the bus schedule as some morning pick up times may have been adjusted.

Additionally, parent drop off time for students is 7-7:20 am. Students arriving after 7:30 will be marked tardy, regardless of reason. Please note instruction will begin at 7:30 am.  As of now, the procedure will remain the same with parents using the entrance at the old Buffalo High School and driving down the lane by the football field.  Dropping off students one car at a time helps ensure adult supervision.  We know mornings can be tough, but student safety is our number one priority.

 Our vision is to:

Love each child for who they are.

Educate each child to their fullest potential.

Appreciate and love the unique qualities of each child.

Delegate leadership to the children.

Expect greatness no matter how big or small.

Rise above the struggles and challenges.

Strive to lead by example.

Our mission:

The mission of Buffalo Elementary is to facilitate learning in all areas and be the resource in education for the community.  We are preparing the children for a future that will be technology and experience based. We are helping Buffalo students become more productive citizens and future leaders.
